Jo's Birthday!

Jo and I went to Takashimaya's Pepper Lunch for dinner, and we both ordered the salmon pepper rice, which tasted great. Three-quarters through dinner, I went off and bought Jo a slice of mango cake. When I came back, she saw the cake and her jaw dropped. Yay! I had successfully planned a surprise!

(In case you're completely clueless, Jo's in pale blue and I'm in yellow.)

It was quite fun, though we didn't get to shop much. We looked at shoes, prom-style dresses, Nike apparel, more shoes, and the different types of alcohol available at Cold Storage. Didn't buy any though. (But I tried on lots of shoes. Really fun.) We bought some sweets and doughnuts.

Jo said that she felt old at 18. Aiyah, 18 is not old. Besides, think of all the new things you can do. Watch M18 movies, drink alcohol, go clubbing, get married... (I'm not too sure about the last one.)

Anyway, we gossiped and we talked and we discussed. The usual girl topics I guess. Boys, girls, BGRs, clothes, shoes, marriage, kids... Yep, a lot of things. Talked about who's together, who's no longer together, and who might be together. Talked about who's cute/handsome/pretty in MJ. Apparently we have similar taste. Haha. Or maybe it's just that those people really look good, and there's no argument.

Jo mentioned Dharma (is that the right spelling??) being really popular with girls because of his muscles and everything. Here's one thing: I have no idea who he is. Yeah, I heard a lot about him, and I may have seen him in school, but I wouldn't know that it's him. Gosh, someone point him out to me lah.

Erm... Yeah, that's about it. Happy birthday Jo!
