Picture this: You are in charge of something important. You want to make an announcement to a group of people who appear as though (because I can't really be sure) they do not give a damn about that something important. You try and you try and you try to get their attention. Tough luck. You try and you try and you try again. And then, thwack, your patience hits its end. You snap at the people, and lecture (the closest word I can think of right now) them about the issue at hand, i.e. that they should care and why. You got their attention. And there, you got the message across, which is the most important thing, really.

I am not perfect. If I were, I would have thought of a perfect way to get your attention without resorting to snapping or shouting or anything that would burst my perfect veins. BUT I AM NOT PERFECT. So, please forgive a flawed individual for her flaws, and not condemn her for something that you're equally likely to do.

You want me to be like the rest of them? Just for the sake of "fitting in"? So that I can have "team spirit" and be part of a group?

Well, this wouldn't be the first time when I have nothing more to say.
