The day really began after school ended. Met up with the soloists and the two Justins, and then went to rehearse. I have to say that the acting really improved. Yep, I'm impressed. Now the only stuff that stands in the way is Rachel's giggling and Ying Chuan's stoned expression. Which I am sure will be overcome in due time. And we'll all deliver an excellent performance. So please come and watch the choir concert. 10th May 7:30PM at Victoria Concert Hall $12.

Justin Hui, for kicks, decided to "puke blood". Damn funny. He used some coloured powder, and then mixed with saliva, it formed this gooey thing. (At least it looked gooey to me. You think I'd touch it?) If the mixture didn't end up so pink, it would be quite convincing. But when he first "puked", there was this red puddle on the floor and it was pretty gross.

Gross, and cool.

After rehearsal, Gracelyn joined the group and we (except Justin Hui) all trooped off to the costume shop, that's somewhere near Bugis. Quite an adventure. There were a lot of costumes. But all the common ones, really. Things like Egyptian outfits, superhero stuff, Victorian garb... Couldn't find old Hollywood glamour, not even from the evening gown section. I got particularly interested in the wedding gown section, but their designs were so old-fashioned. Played around with some of the accessories, like bunny ears (couldn't resist), hat with veil, devil's pitchfork (for holding, not wearing)...

Anyway, we found nothing suitable, so we moved on to the next shop. Smaller shop, but we seemed to find more. Walked to and fro picking out dresses, but the place was so dusty, I had to go out for fresh air. In the end we found some nice dresses, but I thought the era was quite off. Nevertheless, the glamour was there. Well, I played around with more accessories. Cat-eye glasses, angel's halo, police cap, swords, rifle, grim reaper's sickle (that's what it's called right?)...

Went to buy cloth, on the way we saw some foreign creatures of the night. Also noted that the place was full of '7-Eleven's. Well, guess the place has a bustling, erm, night life, and Justin Tit said that "they may need rubber anytime". Haha.

Then Justin Tit went home, and we had dinner at Bugis. Bernice joined us. KFC's chicken shrunk. I have never encountered such a tiny drumstick in my life. (So I'm really hungry now, and I'm eating Koko Krunch as though the world is ending.) After dinner we just sat around and talked and talked and laughed and talked some more, until it was eight-something, and then we all took the train.

Of course the conversation went on and on in the train, and if we bugged the hell out of the other passengers I'm not surprised.

But it's fun. And life is short. If I let the little things (and the little people) in life bother me then there's not much meaning to it.

I love the choir. I'm probably boring you, dear reader, to death by saying this over and over again. But I really do, and I'm looking forward to practice tomorrow. If only it weren't so early in the morning.

Ha. Well, it being so early and all, I think I'm going to sleep now. Goodnight.
